Aims and Scope
Range Management and Agroforestry is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practices in the sustainable management of forages, rangelands and the integration of agroforestry systems. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and policy-makers to disseminate innovative research, share best practices, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue on ecological, economic, and social dimensions of forage, rangeland and agroforestry systems.
The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications that contribute to:
- Basic and applied research on all aspects such as improvement, production, conservation and utilization of forages and rangelands
- Sustainable management and restoration of rangelands, grasslands and pasture systems
- Development, evaluation, and implementation of agroforestry practices for productivity and ecosystem resilience
- Range ecology, livestock integration and their environmental impacts
- Socioeconomic, policy and institutional aspects influencing forages and range management
The journal encourages interdisciplinary and applied research that bridges the gap between ecological science and land-use practices. Studies with implications for sustainable livelihoods, land-use planning, and rural development are especially welcome.
